But BioWare didn’t delay the release to polish the game up over the next couple months and separate itself from the pack, and news is now coming out via the official BioWare community forums that the rumors are true and Mass Effect 3 will indeed include a multiplayer component that allows players to fight alongside one another (but not against) online in the Mass Effect galaxy.
But with so many other big-budget games coming out this holiday season, most were relieved that November 2011 would be a little less clustered with so many great games demanding all of their time. With BioWare pushing the release of Mass Effect 3 back into 2012, you’d think that most gamers would be furious.
